Crack
If the structure has any damage, then crack injection is highly recommended for structural repairs.
The method is an easy way to repair cracks in a structure, and it works great for horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications. It can restore the integrity of a structure as well as provide resistance to moisture penetration.
Curtain
Curtain injections are used for the post construction sealing of structural elements with ground contact affected by moisture. Curtain injections are suitable for restoring basements, shafts, canals and tunnels. It is mainly used if the structural elements concerned cannot be sealed from the outside or if this is not possible without disproportionate costs or effort.
Grouting-Hoses
Injection hoses are used as a planned joint insert for sealing construction joints, butt joints or block joints in structural engineering, civil engineering and tunnel construction.
Hose systems show their advantages not only in heavily reinforced components or in complicated geometries. In addition to conventional joint sealing systems, they can also serve as an additional “insurance policy” for leaks in the joint that occur years later, which can otherwise only be sealed with much greater effort.
In simple terms, in an injection hose system, a hose perforated with special slots is applied to the area of the subsequent joint using clamps before the concrete is poured, the ends of the hose are closed and stored so that they are still accessible after pouring.
Into Masonry
This technique involves low-pressure injection of fine hydraulic lime grout into cracks, voids, and cavities within the masonry. It increases building resistance to moisture penetration and restores the material continuity across cracks. The injection is especially useful for restoring or stabilizing historic structures because the technique does not alter the building’s appearance. It increases the masonry’s durability and overall service life by bonding wythes and reducing moisture infiltration.
Soil Stabilization
The role of soil is crucial for the design and construction of any structure, be it roads, runways or railway tracks. This is because it acts as the medium for effective load transfer into the earth. This implies that a weak soil base will eventually cause settlement of the structure, leading to failure.
Stabilisation is the process of improving the engineering properties of the soil before construction. Stabilisation is done to improve the strength of the soil and shrink/arrest the swelling potential, thus improving the load bearing capacity and the overall performance of the in-situ soils.
Water Inrush Prevention
Water inrush and mud gushing are one of the biggest hazards in construction. Due to the different settings of different locations, the unfavorable geological sections cannot be fully determined before construction, which increases the risk of water inrush and mud gushing.
The treatment methods include choosing a method of advance geological forecast according to risk degrees of different sections in the construction, determining the items of predictions, and choosing the appropriate methods.
